What to expect 

After you contact me

I will either e-mail you to respond to questions, or arrange a time for a free 20-minute phone call to discuss what your aims are from my involvement and whether my involvement would be helpful

If we decide to work together:

Before involvement:

  • For individual casework and consultation regarding children/young people, I will send a request form to parents and school (where appropriate and following parental consent) with the aim of gathering more detailed information about the current situation (e.g. concerns, strengths and what is going well, what support has been tried) and about the hoped-for outcomes following my involvement.  Following discussion this will also include details of agreed aims and the scope of the work and signed parental consent will be required before involvement. 

  • I will send you a client agreement form (including fees and invoice payments, report timings, and client and EP responsibilities) and a copy of my privacy policy with information about how and what personal data about you and/or your child is collected, stored and shared.

After involvement:

  • Following individual casework, a report will be sent (via e-mail) within 4 calendar weeks of my visit/involvement. 

  • Following parent and staff consultations, a short summary record will be sent (via e-mail) within 10 calendar days, with a summary of our discussion and any actions identified.
